- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13546085, 9 years agoUsing this on a Windows 10 Dell Laptop. Downloaded a streaming video webcast, there was a break in the middle, but it also happened on another machine using a different process so it was probably the website that was doing the streaming. No issues, it worked fine, and as far as I was concerned was worth the $28.50. Programmers have to make a living too.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13545320, 9 years agoCompletly crazy. Dowloader needs to install external program and during download it puts big QR Code watermark in video !!!
It takes long time.
You have to pay 28$ to remove watermark.
One word: shit.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13543655, 9 years agoI am giving this 4 stars rather than 5 - for the following reasons, right now, it is the ONLY youtube downloader that will save in high resolutions, such as 1080p and even higher - and it does a good job, however, it loses a star for the following three reasons - 1. a successful high resolution download now requires an additional program (called a companion app) to be downloaded and installed for a conversion to be done, though this is likely not the fault of the developer, probably the only way around youtube's latest copy protection scheme, and this executable appears to be safe and is open source. 2. the conversion can take a while (as in an hour or more). 3. You end with a high resolution download, at the full quality of the original, but it has this stupid QR code watermark in the top left corner to kind of force you to contribute, in order to get rid of it. - The required contribution is US$28.50, but at least it is just a one time fee, and likely a good deal considering that this is the only game in town at present.
