by Greg Bomkamp, 8 months agoReally excellent extension!! This is the fourth extension that I've tried for enhancing YouTube and I really like this one.
I would love see configuration to make full-screen scrollable where in full-screen, you can scroll down to see the comments/other videos (instead of the 'other video suggestions')

Edit: I originally had the following issues in my review, but im pretty certain this is a "me" issue with something breaking it on my end, not an actual issue with this extension. I'm leaving it below for posterity's-sake but i dont think its the extension at fault:
~~For the developer, I've noticed a few tiny issues that may/may not be known (and could also be something on my end):
1. For some reason, clicking on the video-space doesn't pause/unpause/fullscreen on double click/etc., I can only click on the interface buttons themselves
2. I have 'Right Click + Scroll Wheel' enabled for changing volume but holding the Right Click doesn't prevent the page from scrolling (see attached pastebin)~~
I'm very grateful for the Custom CSS/JS sections, I've added some small custom tweaks for resolving #2 and making the 'Back to Top' button better for myself. If you're interested: pastebin/BaVNLpss

posted 8 months agoHey Greg, thanks for taking the time to write this, but I can't replicate the issues #1 and #2.
What OS do you use? Does issue #1 only happens when the scroll volume feature is enabled? Did you try leaving only YT Tweaks enabled?

- Rated 4 out of 5by Caddy, 3 days agoworked fine for over a year but a few days ago everything broke, theme isn't applied, it fails to dim the brightness of anything outside the player and it just flashes uncontrollably, isn't hiding shorts, etc...

ok glazing aside - this actually just works and it has features I didn't know I needed, like auto pausing the video when another one loads (and auto resume). I have had several youtube tweaks installed in the past and this one just makes them all obsolete. This is everything you could ask for from enhancer for youtube. But enhancer doesn't bring in more features it just sticks to its same old formula.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Theormostat, a month agoFor some reason this just straight up doesn't work for me. Tried to hide watched videos, shorts and mixes on youtube homepage but it just didn't work, there was no change and I have no clue why.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Annabeth, a month agoI love this extension so far! The settings UI is clean and easy to navigate. Not to mention, the settings themselves cover a wide range of features while having a high level of customisation.

- Rated 5 out of 5by higgins1289, 3 months agoGreat extension. recent youtube update has massively increased the size of thumbnails for suggested videos in the sidebar. any chance of including an option to make them smaller? I cannot seem to find it if there is one.

- Rated 5 out of 5by ari, 3 months agoabsolute most goated ui tweaks addon for youtube. this + sponsorblock + ublock origin and you're set. the menu is splendidly organized and is very easy to use. you can customize almost every ui element. there's also hotkey support!! the themes are a nice bonus and they all look great.
i use it to:
1. hide shorts from everything except my subscriptions
2. redirect youtube homepage to subscriptions feed
3. make search results appear in a grid
4. hide all the clutter (explore, shorts, etc) from the sidebar
+ some other misc tweaks but those are the main ones.
i've used many other types of addons like this for years but i will probably stick with this one. excellent all in one solution, kudos to the developer! - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18568168, 3 months agoi noticed for a week or so that the "hide livestream" doesnt hide finished streams anymore.
