posted a year agoThe default Quick connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. If you'd like to connect to a specific server in a country of your choice, you may consider upgrading your plan.
That said, can you let us know what exactly doesn't work when connected to our free US and Poland servers? Contact us with more details by clicking on Help in the Proton VPN extension, then selecting 'Contact us' so we can assist you further.

- Up until recently, Proton VPN has been a GREAT option for me. It was the only free VPN I trusted and used and it worked great. However as of yesterday it stopped working. I've tried to uninstall it but it actually won't let me, and if I try to click on the icon/widget it is just a neverending spinning circle. Also, I keep getting a popup that says "Your networks seems to be blocking Proton. The extension can't bypass this. Try the desktop app instead"
This is very frustrating to especially since the mobile version keeps workings fine for now. I originally thought it might be a problem on my end, but apparently this has been an issue for many other people. Dropping my review so hopefully others know they aren't alone - Rated 1 out of 5by magivmike, 3 days agoit never loads anything and just displays a window with a spinning circle on it, and the circle keeps spinning till I crash out and delete the extension
